These cookies are super sweet, so if you have a sweet tooth like I do, you'll love 'em!
- 2 egg whites
- 1/8 tsp salt
- 1/8 tsp cream of tarter
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips (optional)
Mix everything aside from the sugar until it forms peaks and is stiff.
Fold in sugar, using small portions at a time.
Next, preheat the oven to 300 degrees.
Scoop the mixture into ziplock bags and cut one bottom corner off (this will make it easier to form little cookies).
Line cookie sheets with parchment paper and squeeze out little plops of the mixture onto it.
Bake for 20-25 minutes until very lightly browned.
Then there you have it! Delicious, sweet, sugary, chewy meringue cookies!
